Playa San Juan, Tenerife
The small fishing village of Playa San Juan has retained its Spanish roots. A lively fiesta lights up the resort in early August when the Virgen del Carmen is taken down to the fishing boats amidst dancing and fireworks.

Playa San Juan Beaches
There are 2 adjacent beaches at Playa San Juan that are separated from each other by a stone faced jetty. Swimmers from these 2 beaches are protected by a line of connected buoys from the boats & yachts that use the harbour.
The Harbour Beach
The smaller Harbour Beach is immediately next to the harbour, and protected by a jetty & the harbour wall, resulting in calm water making it ideal for smaller child en. The beach is backed by the resort with cafe bars on the sea front.
Main Playa San Juan Beach
The Main Playa San Juan Beach continues from the harbour beach to the south west. Many say that this is the prettiest beach on Tenerife.
The beach is backed by a low rocky cliff then mainly open country much of which is occupied by Banana Plantations
Rocky Shore
The waterfront in front of the resort is all rocky creating a dramatic sea frontage. There are patches of pebbles & flatish rocks where sunbathing can take place. The whole area is ideal for snorkelling, but ensure you find a suitable safe spot to enter & leave the water which is crystal clear.
The waterfront dramatically changes at the harbour where the beaches start.
Childrens Playground
Located next to the promenade on the opposite side to the dry boat park by the harbour.
