The old town and a harbour  of Los Cristianos give the resort some old fashioned charm that the more purpose built resorts of Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje lack. Although there are plenty of good restaurants and bars Los Cristianos does not have the younger end vibrant nightlife that Playa de las Americas offers.

Costa Adeje is a more upmarket area than Playa de las Americas.

Costa Adeje  consists of several small towns, Fanabe, Torviscas, Puerto Colon, Playa del Duque and San Eugenio that have all merged into one compact resort with a combined sea frontage of around one & a half miles.

With fabulous beaches and the added attraction of the marina, puerto colon and the Water park Aqua Park Octopus located in the resort about 600 metres inland

The main attraction of Los Gigantes are the magnificent views of the very dramatic shear cliffs of Los Gigantes, the small harbour and lido swimming pool.

The down side is the area is very hilly, but a regular & cheap bus service to Playa de las Americas & Los Cristianos along the main road can allieviate some of the hill.
